The Louisville First Seventh-day Adventist church was blessed by a series of evangelistic meetings held by the youth of the church.
Brandon Voignier and Josh Mattingly presented thought-provoking sermons that encouraged the audience to study their Bibles in order to know what is said regarding last day events. Other young people in the church helped make the event a success by participating in aspects such as special music, working at the greeting desk, publicity, recording the services to make CDs, and serving snacks that encouraged attendees to linger and chat.
Both Brandon and Josh are students at Louisville Junior Academy. Brandon was in the ninth grade and Brandon is in the eleventh grade at the time the meetings were held. It was a thrilling experience for Brandon and Josh and they are now thinking ahead to what might be next.
The series resulted in a number of individuals who continued studying the Bible with the local pastor, Tim Madding. All of them requested baptism. There were seven baptized in the afternoon on May 9.
